Efficold’s 2025–2028 Sustainability Plan is closely linked to the design, manufacture, and life cycle of our products.
It translates into concrete actions that directly affect innovation, materials, energy efficiency,
and recyclability for every piece of equipment we launch on the market.
01. Eco-design as a starting point
Eco-design is one of the pillars of the plan. This means that the following are evaluated from the product development phase onwards:
- Materials with lower environmental impact, such as LED lighting, electronic fans, and variable speed compressors.
- I ensure that our products consume less energy and are more sustainable.
02. Using natural refrigerants
In line with the plan’s ‘Environment’ focus, our products incorporate natural refrigerant gases such as R-290 and R-600a, which have a much lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than traditional refrigerants.

All our products comply with strict European efficiency standards, and some models have the best energy efficiency ratings.
