Since 2013, the sustainability assessment has been carried out through the Ecovadis platform and for the third consecutive year we have managed to maintain the gold medal, the highest award given by the platform.
For those not familiar with it, EcoVadis provides a holistic business sustainability rating service delivered through a global cloud-based software-as-a-service platform.
The EcoVadis Rating covers a wide range of non-financial management systems including environmental impacts, labour practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Each company is assessed on the material aspects relevant to the company’s size, location and sector.
These evidence-based assessments are refined into easy-to-read scorecards that provide scores between zero and one hundred (0-100) and medals (bronze, silver and gold) where appropriate. In addition, the scorecards provide guidance on strengths and areas for improvement that assessed companies can use to focus their sustainability efforts and develop Corrective Action plans to improve their sustainability performance.
For their part they have highlighted from Efficold that:
- No records have been found in the external non-compliance and risk database.
- Since the last assessment, the overall score has increased due to the implementation of additional policies.
- The company has an advanced management system in the areas of environment, fair business practices, labour relations and human rights.
